What does wella health do?
Wellahealth helps pharmacists automate their pharmaceutical care. It enables easy follow up on patient’s medication using automatic SMS messages and fast recording and recollection of drug history.
How do i change my password?
Click on the ‘account’ tab at the upper end of the software and type your new intending password twice and save
I can not login to the platform?
Check the case of the password, if the characters are in upper and lower case
The wellahealth site is not coming up on my phone or devices?
Ensure the internet network connectivity of your phone is enabled and that you have enough data on your phone. Enter the following link into your browser: http://bit.ly/engagelogin
How do I use it
When you log-in, you will arrive at the entry page. On dispensing medications to the patient, enter the information as requested on the entry page: Phone number - Start the number with ‘0’ Patient name - Enter the patient’s name Drug - Enter the drug dispensed, input only one drug Instruction - Enter the dispensing instructions for the drug Severity - Select either acute or chronic. ‘Acute’ for short term medications like paracetamol or anti-malarials. ‘Chronic’ for long term medications like amlodipine or metformin.
What happens when i select ‘acute’
Our software automatically recognize that and sends an immediate message containing the drug information and instructions to the patient. An automatic goodwill follow up message is sent after 3 days to ensure the patient is improving and has easy access to contact you if they’re not.
What happens when i select ‘chronic’
A box containing number of days pops up and there you can select the number of days at which the medication you are prescribing should be completed. Our system will automatically save that and automatic messages will be sent to them at intervals depending on the number of days you have chosen in the days box. One message just as they leave the pharmacy containing drug information and instructions. One message halfway between the course of the medication to remind them to adhere and also to extend goodwill. One final message in the day of completion to encourage them to return for a refill.
How do i personalise the message template to suit my taste?
Click on the ‘template’ tab on the platform, edit the messages (either Chronic or Acute) and click update to save your changes. Note Do not clear off the bracketed words but only wrap your messages around the words.
How do i give medical advice to patients through the platform after putting their details on the software?
You can give advice by entering any text into the ‘instruction’ box, e.g before or after meal.
How do i know a patient has received an sms from my pharmacy?
click on patient list tab, look for the patient’s name and click on it and scrolled down. you will see the sent messages and the messages on queue.
Can i use a different phone or computer to access the software and can i use it at the same time with my pharmacist colleague?
Wellahealth platform is cloud based you can use different devices to access the platform as it does not install directly on your devices also two or more people can use a single log in at the same time.
How i do i know what medications i have dispensed to a patient?
Click on the patient record’s tab and type either the patient name or phone number, scroll down a little under medications you will see the drugs at the particular date it was sold to them.
How do i know when a patient is supposed to come back for the refill of his drugs
There is a tab tagged “Refills” on the homepage, click on it and a display of patient’s drug refills information will be displayed showing the number of days until their next refills, due date, drug information, drug prescription, patient’s name and their phone number respectively.
What does the “Refills” tab do?
The upcoming tab avails you the information of your patients drug refills information date. It is basically for chronic patients that are to come back for the refills of their drugs. The information embedded in the tab enables you to be aware of your patient’s next refill date so you can plan ahead their for their return.
How do i send bulk SMS to my patients
Click on the patient list tab, this will show you your patients list information and two big boxes on the right hand side (upper box is the box for the bulk message you want to send out to the patients, the second box below is the recipients box) click on the upper to type in your messages then click on the below to put in the recipients. If sending messages to all, there is a click on the left hand patient list column where you click “select all numbers” and all the patients number automatically moved to the recipient box, but if sending to a specific people in the list, click on the little boxes beside each of the patients you would want to send the bulk sms to.
